Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Kazakhstan: Current Trends, Challenges, and Prospects

This study explores the current state and future prospects of Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation in Kazakhstan. In the context of digital transformation, BIM is seen as a key tool for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of the construction industry. The paper analyzes existing BIM practices in the country, identifies barriers such as lack of awareness, training, and funding, and highlights opportunities for development. Emphasis is placed on the need for regulatory support and educational initiatives. The study concludes that successful BIM integration can significantly improve project management and contribute to the modernization of the construction sector in Kazakhstan.
